A Walk In Morrow Woodland Collection
Introducing all those lovely creatures we find so adorable that hide in our woods and forests, plus a few super heroes of the Morrowland Garden realms!
MRS. OlIVIA OWL
A wise and rather strict owl. She uses her large eyes to watch over the children in Morrowland and make sure they are not getting up to any mischief. She can sleep with one eye open and can swoop down on any naughty little children in the blink of an eye. Watch yourselves! Olivia likes to knit in her spare time and makes everyone new stockings and hats in winter. Her biggest achievement so far has been to star as Bella The Great in the Woodland Opera - A Birds Tale. She won glowing reviews and a prize of all the cake she could eat for a month! Her best friend is Mr. Jake Badger, they have been friends since school and always like to sit and watch the sunsets together.
MISS FIFI FOX
Miss Fifi is a very shy little fox. She likes to wander in the meadows and smell the beautiful flowers. On hot summer days she likes nothing more than to sip a long cool glass of freshly squeezed peach and apricot juice. She loves to frolic in the long grass chasing butterflies with her friend Sonny Squirrel. At night she sits and gazes at the stars and longs one day to go to Fox school and learn about astronomy.
Robbie Robin is a curious little bird, who likes to seek out any fairgrounds that come to town. He is bedazzled by the colourful lights and is very partial to the odd tuft of candy floss. His favourite ride is the Big Double Dippy Dipper. He loves how fast he can go in it, much faster than his own wings can fly. At night he tucks up warm in the shelter of his beloved pine tree and falls asleep whilst listening to the other forest creatures soothing lullaby hoots and howls.
MR. JAKE BADGER
Jake Badger is a strange kind of fellow. He loves to eat everything that is coloured orange, from pumpkins to sweet potatoes and the odd spot of marmalade on carrots! He once tried to eat one of Mrs. Olivia Owls orange socks that she had knitted for the children of Morrowland school, but it didn't taste very nice so he used it as a scarf instead. His oldest companion is Olivia Owl whom he has the greatest respect for. He would love to take her out to dance at the Foxtrot tearooms someday but he hasn't plucked up the courage to ask her yet!
Rainbow loves to skip, hop and jump. She likes to hop on to Ellie Elephants trunk and slide up and down. They both have such a giggle together. Once they went for a long walk and found a stream. Ellie began to drink from the stream with her long trunk and after she had finished Ellie decided to be a little mischievous! She started spraying water from her trunk high up into the air above Rainbows head to soak her. As she did so, the bright sunlight shone through the water and made a beautiful coloured rainbow which touched the rabbits head. So from that day on the rabbit became known as Rainbow Rabbit and everyone likes to be her friend as they think she will bring them good luck.
Henry Hedgehog is a very likeable young chap. He is everyone's friend. At the weekends he helps out at the local old animals home. He likes to tell the elderly stories about the places and adventures he has written. One day he would like to write his own book and sell them all around Morrowland. Unfortunately he gets a little behind with his school work sometimes as he has a tendency to daydream and often needs a nudge to bring him back to reality from Mrs. Olivia Owl who watches over the children of Morrowland. I'm sure one day if he sticks at the school work he will become a famous author!
Beautiful Lola, what a lovely little creature she is! Lola is the best dressed bug in town with her lovely frocks of bright colours and spots and delicate lacework wings! Lola is the seamstress of Morrowland, she makes all the costumes for the singers in the Morrow Woodland Operatic society and for the dancers at the Bug Ball Room. It’s lucky she has 6 arms to help her work fast as there is always a new theatre production or dance to be seen in Morrowland. Her hope is that one day she will be able to make outfits for the King and Queen of the Garden Realms.
This beautiful little lady is a whizz at maths and is Morrowland's garden guardian. Her job is to count the flowers and bees in all her friends gardens and keep a register of all visitors to the area . Flutterby Girl has some special powers, for a start she can fly, but most importantly she has the ability to produce sparkly flutter dust which gives off such a sparkle that it bedazzles all those who get in it's path. The evil Black Birdians, big squawking, flapping creatures are always on the look out to eat the Morrowland folk but thanks to Flutterby girl's cloud of sparkles they never seem to get close enough to enter the garden realms.
This cool dude is a handsome young man, he can charm all the insect crew with a bat of his wings. But he only has eyes for Flutterby Girl - the guardian garden keeper. Flutter Boy has an amazing talent. He can open a tin of beans with his pincer hands! He helps build homes with his brilliant hands for the Morrowland folk and in his spare time is working on a new device that sends out a high pitched noise that only the evil Blackbirdians will hear. The Blackbirdians are creatures that fly and circle the skies keeping their beady eyes on the lookout for juicy tasty treats. They won't like this noise at all and so it will keep those pests from trying to snaffle up the garden folk. All in all a very handy helpful creature to have around.
